Gone Country is the wholesale window into Winchester Hat Corporation — one of only two fur-felt body makers left in America, and the same felt works behind our own Open Crown fur felt hats. If you block, trim, and finish your own hats, this page is for you.

Every body ships as an open, unshaped cone, ready for your block. We do not stock bodies; each one comes off Winchester's line for your order.

The X follows our Truth in the X's standard: the number is the real beaver content of the felt, not a marketing number.

How ordering works

4-body minimum per order — mix colors, blends, and sizes freely. No carton multiples required — order the exact count you need. Bodies are ordered on their own and can't be combined with finished-hat orders — they ship direct from the felt maker, not our warehouse. Shipping is billed with your invoice.

Timing: everything is made to order on Winchester's production schedule, and we confirm expected timing when your order is placed. Belly fur and pastels run on Winchester's own schedule with no committed timeframe — we'll give you the current expectation when you order and updates as we get them.
